Dell had to retire the Streak last year owing to poor sales of the device but it seems that misfortune was being shared by its stablemates as well. Dell has now discontinued the sales of the Android-based Venue and the Windows Phone-based Venue Pro in the US.

What's fascinating to know, however, that Dell has no immediate plans to replace these phones or to continue in the US smartphone market at all. It did mention it will be launching some recent phones in the US later this year but did not say if any of these devices will be smartphones.

If you don't live in the US, you don't have to worry as these devices will continue to be on sale, just like the Streak. For now, at least.
