In January BenQ-Siemens announced their high-class capturing camera phone S88 along with two other devices (EF81 and S68). From now on BenQ-Siemens S88 is available for purchase.

The tri-band bar phone has a 2.0" 256K colors Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) display with 176 x 220 pixels resolution and promises to be very good. The 16 Mega Bytes (MB) internal memory can be expanded with microSD cards. S88 also has a 2 megapixel capturing camera with autofocus and a flash LED. BenQ-Siemens have set the ambitious goal to hold part of the Sony Ericsson K750 customers but for now S88 is offered at a higher price than its competitor. Will the phone achieve this task, the future will show.
